Hotpod Yoga Unveils its boldest Class Transformation yet, Doubling Down on Strength and Recovery

The UK’s leading yoga network has rebuilt its class menu into six clearly defined formats, so that every class earns its place on the timetable while making it easier than ever for anyone, whatever their goal, to find their way into the pod.

Hotpod Yoga, the UK’s leading yoga network with more than 65 hot yoga studios nationwide, has unveiled its boldest move to date: a reinvention of its class experience, transformed into six clearly defined formats built around the two pillars that have defined the brand since day one: strength and recovery. Every class on the new timetable has been rebuilt around a clear outcome, so that customers know exactly what they’re walking into the pod to achieve.

Strength and recovery have always sat at the heart of the Hotpod Yoga experience – the pod itself was designed as a space where people could build physical resilience without the intimidation factor of a gym floor or the competitive edge of a studio full of advanced practitioners.

This reinvention doesn’t change that DNA, it turns it up: doubling down on the proven power of yoga and giving customers a far clearer, bolder route to the class that matches what their body needs onany given day. It’s also about reaching the people who’ve never thought that yoga was for them, presenting each class in a way that makes it obvious exactly how it can support their own fitness and wellbeing journey, whatever stage they’re starting from.

Studios across the network are rolling out the new class structure now, with the six new formats each built to deliver on a single promise:

For Strength and Challenge:

• Hotpod Signature – the original Hotpod experience; a balanced, full-body flow that builds strength, eases tension and helps members switch off. Suitable for all levels.

• Hotpod Strength – the network’s most strength-focussed class, using controlled transitions, longer holds and yoga-inspired conditioning (think planks and slow press-ups) to build full-body strength, stability and resistance; no dumbbells, no machines, just bodyweight and breath.

• Hotpod Dynamic – a more advanced step up from Signature, designed for customers ready to take their practice further and explore new postures, transitions and challenges. Expect strong, breath-led movement, fluid sequencing and plenty of opportunities for play!

For Recovery and Rest:

• Hotpod Recovery – designed for anyone whose body needs a break, whether that’s after a hard training block or a hard week at a desk, using gentle movement and longer stretches to release tight muscles, ease tension and calm the nervous system, leaving you feeling looser, lighter and ready to go again.

• Hotpod Slow & Steady – a slower, more mindful practice with longer holds, ideal for building confidence and refining technique. It’s still yoga through and through, using flows that build strength and support fitness, only at a slower, steadier pace – perfect for the days when a gentler kind of workout is what the body needs.

• Hotpod Rest & Restore – the brand’s slowest, most restorative class, designed to help customers properly switch off and recharge. Using props throughout for comfort and support, this class creates space to breathe, soften, and completely unwind.

The new class experience makes it impossible to get this wrong: whatever the goal – building strength, recovering from injury or over-training, managing stress, or simply finding a more approachable entry point into yoga than a traditional studio can offer – there’s now a class built specifically to deliver it.

“Strength and recovery have always been at the heart of Hotpod Yoga , but we’re now really dialling that up – refreshing our offering to ensure that all of our classes deliver exactly what our students are looking for ; a range of clear, functional benefits. All of our classes remain firmly and proudly grounded in yoga, but we’ve spent time finessing and broadening our range of classes, focusing on the outcomes that our customers crave and which yoga delivers – whether that’s building strength and mobility, helping with recovery , or just switching off busy minds. It’s bodyweight and breath combined with the extraordinary, immersive environment that the pod creates – that’s what we’re doubling down on and we’re really excited to share what we’ve been working on. ”
— Max Henderson, co-founder and CEO of Hotpod Yoga

The changes come against a growing customer demand for both strength training and recovery-focussed wellness; twin trends that have typically been served by separate, often expensive or intimidating spaces (gyms on one side, high-end recovery studios on the other). Recovery in particular has become one of the most talked-about areas of fitness, as more people recognise that rest and

restoration matter just as much as the training itself, and hot yoga is well placed to meet that demand: the heat helps loosen tight muscles and ease tension, while the practice itself calms the nervous system in a way few other forms of exercise, recovery-focussed or otherwise, can match.

Hotpod’s unique pod format, gently heated, dimly lit, and non-mirrored, has always aimed to strip out the self-consciousness that can put people off building strength through movement. The new class experience doesn’t just reflect that; it puts it right at the heart of everything Hotpod Yoga does.
